BUYING THE RIGHT HOT TUB:

Maximizing Hot Tub Therapy

Hot tubs are a proven way to improve health, including leg and back pain, sports recovery, diet, headaches, stress, insomnia, and even full body wakening. Below, you’ll learn what to look for in a hot tub in order to get the ideal therapeutic experience.

Jet Location

Jet location is a vital part of getting a full-body massage. Look for jets that are strategically placed to target pressure points and offer a variety of different massage options. Many hot tubs offer jet placement that differs from seat to seat so you have massage options for your entire body.

Therapeutic Programs

Just because a hot tub has many jets, that doesn’t mean it will provide a therapeutic massage. Look for a hot tub with specific massage programs for different therapeutic needs. Each person has individual therapeutic needs. Whether you have pain in your back or legs, want a therapeutic program to support your diet, need sports recovery or suffer from headaches, insomnia, or stress, Hydropool has a program for you.

Through diligent research with athletic and other physiotherapists and chiropractors, Hydropool discovered that experts recommend four hot tub seats with a variety of jet types and positions. We began designing our hot tubs based on this principle and as a result, many professional sports teams now exclusively use our hot tubs. As users move from seat to seat, the four-zone system provides a range of different therapies for the entire body. Selecting the therapeutic program you need is simple: you can easily select it from the hot tub’s touchpad.

In Hydropool’s Four-Zone system, jets are strategically placed to target specific areas of your body. There are four “zones” so that each user can receive a personalized, targeted massage. You simply select your program on a touch screen, sit in zone one, and the program will notify you when you should move to the next seat or zone.

Without a variety of zones, it would be impossible to address each individual’s specific needs. Different programs allow you to give your body exactly what it needs. For example, if you suffer from back pain, you can choose a program that will specifically target it. You will begin with 10 minutes in zone one where your massage will release tension in your spine and dorsal muscles. When you move to zone two, you will receive 10 minutes of massage that will release lumbar tension. In zone three, the massage will address tension in your upper back, shoulders, and trapezoid muscles as well as your neck.

You can learn more about the eight different targeted therapies our hot tubs provide in the Wellness Guide that comes with every Hydropool hot tub. The guide also describes which aromatherapy and chromatherapy options will enhance your specific program and provide you with even greater full-body benefits.

Aromatherapy and Chromatherapy Options

In addition to full-body massage options, aromatherapy and chromatherapy (light therapy) can provide the ultimate wellness experience. After consulting with Clinique, France’s top wellness company, Hydropool began designing hot tubs that offer both of these therapies.
